Funciones y responsabilidades en la Teoría de la Centralidad Funcional del Acto Educativo

Resumen

Introducción: La expresión «el estudiante en el centro» recoge una preocupación legítima por su formación, pero resulta ambigua cuando confunde finalidades educativas, participación y responsabilidad sobre la enseñanza. El objetivo de este artículo es formular y fundamentar la Teoría de la Centralidad Funcional del Acto Educativo (TCFAE), delimitando su alcance escolar. Metodología: Se desarrolló un análisis conceptual apoyado en una revisión crítica y selectiva de literatura sobre relaciones pedagógicas, conocimientos previos, enseñanza guiada y autonomía. Se distinguieron premisas normativas, definiciones y afirmaciones empíricas, atendiendo al nivel de acceso a cada fuente. Resultados: La construcción conceptual articula tres centralidades diferentes e interdependientes: teleológica del estudiante, pedagógico-intencional del docente y epistemológico-cultural del conocimiento en relación con el mundo. Catorce principios precisan responsabilidades y orientan decisiones sobre diagnóstico, acceso al conocimiento, ajuste de apoyos y autonomía situada. Se desarrollan dos situaciones hipotéticas y seis proposiciones contrastables. Conclusiones: La aportación propuesta consiste en aclarar funciones que suelen confundirse, sin atribuirse la invención de sus antecedentes. Persisten tensiones sobre autoridad, selección cultural y condiciones institucionales. La TCFAE es una propuesta en construcción: la evidencia sobre algunos de sus componentes no demuestra su eficacia, y su utilidad requiere investigación específica.
