Derechos humanos y accesibilidad a los servicios de salud materna: revisión bibliográfica desde el cuidado humanizado.

Resumen

Introducción: La salud materna constituye un derecho humano fundamental cuya garantía exige servicios accesibles, oportunos, equitativos y respetuosos de la dignidad de las mujeres. Objetivo: Analizar la garantía del derecho humano a la salud materna en términos de accesibilidad a los servicios de salud. Metodología: Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica de enfoque cualitativo y alcance descriptivo-analítico. La población documental estuvo constituida por 25 artículos científicos; tras la aplicación de los criterios de elegibilidad y la depuración metodológica, 11 artículos conformaron la muestra final para responder directamente a los objetivos del estudio. Para los estudios observacionales se utilizó STROBE como guía de apoyo para valorar la totalidad del reporte. Los documentos jurídicos, leyes, tratados y fuentes normativas se analizaron de forma complementaria y no formaron parte de la muestra científica. Resultados: Se identificaron desigualdades socioeconómicas, geográficas, culturales e institucionales; barreras de infraestructura, transporte, información y atención intercultural; además de prácticas relacionadas con violencia obstétrica y ausencia de consentimiento informado. El análisis jurídico mostró una brecha entre el reconocimiento normativo y su aplicación efectiva. La Teoría del Cuidado Humano de Jean Watson aportó un marco para interpretar la dignidad, empatía y humanización del cuidado como componentes del derecho a la salud. Conclusiones: Garantizar la salud materna requiere articular accesibilidad, equidad, derechos humanos, interculturalidad y cuidado humanizado en las políticas y prácticas sanitarias.
